We wish you a warm welcome to Anglia Art Bronzes where you can take your time to peruse our site illustrating celebrity portraits sculptured in bronze and other art works offered for sale.
We are a small family company situated in rural South Norfolk, U.K. Here, far away from the pressures of modern city life, we are able to create beautiful artefacts for collectors worldwide. All the sculptures are our own work.
Linda is the sculptor and for many years taught the craft of woodcarving to adults. She has had and continues to have many and varied commissions. Her heraldic paintings and carvings hang in several public and private collections, as do landscapes, animal portraits, sculptures and much, much more. She has carried out restoration work in Norwich Cathedral as well as large country houses.
Recently Linda’s focus has been on the casting of resin-bronzes from clay, a medium she loves and which allows her to capture the subtle nuances of expression and movement peculiar to her subjects. Please click onto About the Sculptor to learn more about Linda.
Our sculptures bronze celebrity portrait heads are set to become the collectibles of the future as the personalities captured become part of our cultural history. The growing field of pop memorabilia already reflects the scarcity of quality-related items and as such, we hope our bronze portraits prove a good investment. With Sir Cliff Richard, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Freddie Mercury already captured in bronze, our sculptures have touched the stars!
In the past, the acquisition of a beautiful bronze statue or sculptured portrait head was the province of the super-rich. They had to commission artists, often as far away as Italy to create beautiful sculptured objects for their home, public buildings or estate. Today, thanks to the marriage of traditional artistic skills and modern materials we can all aspire to collect the stuff of our dreams!
Cold-cast bronze resin is a relatively new innovation which enables existing artefacts, sculptures or newly-created clay models to be faithfully copied. The costs are much more reasonable than having a subject carved in marble or cast in foundry bronze yet both these and many more effects can be achieved using this wonderful medium. As each piece is hand-finished, the subtle differences make your work of art truly unique and the door has been opened for you to begin or add to an impressive sculpture collection of your own.
Whichever process you choose, you will have a lasting sculptured work of art, uniquely conceived, hand-made and hand-finished.
We are a very small operation and our aim is to please. Because our artwork is hand-finished, we ask that sufficient time is allowed from order to delivery to enable us to spend time to deliver to you a sculpture you will be proud of. If you wish to learn more about the processes involved, click onto Bronze Resin Process for more detail.
We hope you enjoy your journey through these pages and return from time to time to see what we have added to our sculpture gallery.
